Terms and Conditions
International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR):
The International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), found in 22 CFR Parts 120–130, govern the export and handling of defense-related items. Under ITAR § 120.3, a “defense article” refers to any item specifically designed, developed, configured, adapted, or modified for military use. When determining whether an item falls under this category, the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) considers whether the item has significant civilian applications or comparable civilian alternatives. Items classified as defense articles are listed on the U.S. Munitions List (USML), which is maintained by DDTC.
Certain products offered on this website may fall under ITAR restrictions. Exporting these items without proper authorization or a license from the U.S. Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, is strictly prohibited. By completing a purchase of any ITAR-controlled item, the customer confirms that:
(i) the transaction does not require the seller to export the item unless proper authorization has been obtained;
(ii) the customer does not plan to export the item after purchase without the required U.S. Government approval;
(iii) the customer will not transfer, sell, or provide the item to any foreign person—whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign embassies—without authorization;
(iv) the customer understands that a “foreign person,” as defined in ITAR § 120.16, includes individuals who are not U.S. lawful permanent residents or protected persons, as well as foreign entities, governments, and international organizations; and
(v) the customer qualifies as a “U.S. person” under ITAR § 120.15, meaning a lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or a U.S.-based entity or government body.
Export Administration Regulations (EAR):
Items not classified as defense articles under ITAR fall under the jurisdiction of the Department of Commerce. The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) administers the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which are outlined in 15 CFR Parts 730–774.
Some products on this website may be subject to EAR controls, and their export could require authorization from BIS. By purchasing any regulated item, the customer agrees that:
(i) the purchase does not involve export by the seller unless proper authorization has been secured; and
(ii) the customer will not export the item after receipt without obtaining the necessary U.S. Government approval.
