All In One 4 Color LED Bulb Module

The patent pending Nightmare™ by Predator Tactics™ offers the All In One 4 Color LED Bulb Module that allows you to quickly change between a GREEN, RED, BLUE & WHITE color beam in under 3 seconds. Knowing the right time to utilize the right color is important and here are a few pro’s & con’s to each color and recommendations on when to use what color option.

Green Beam:

ADVANTAGES- The green is the brightest color beam behind the white and will get you the furthest throw and target identification . The human eye can identify targets more clearly with the green.

DISADVANTAGES- The green illuminates moisture in the air and makes it difficult to see through fog, rain, snow, mist and even high humidity when looking through optics. The green will also illuminate close by twigs and brush so much that it will make it difficult to see past when looking through your optics.

WHEN TO USE- The green is best utilized on dark nights with little to no ambient light from the moon and little to no moisture in the air. The green works best in big open country where you will be able to set up without much brush in front of you. The green works great on hogs and predators but has a little more of a chance at keeping a wary coyote from committing any closer than 100 yards.

Red Beam:

ADVANTAGES- The red is great for cutting through moisture in the air as well as cutting past close by brush. The red is a more mellow of a light color that is also great for using on light shy critters like a wary coyote or raccoons. The red is great for helping maintain your eye’s night vision.

DISADVANTAGES- The red does not get the beam distance as a green or white will. The human eye generally speaking will have a slightly more difficult time identifying with the red.

WHEN TO USE- The red works great for predators and some have mixed feelings about red on hogs. The red is best utilized on brighter nights (snow covered terrain, full or close to full moon). The red is also great for hunting smaller fields and tight spots. The red will cut through timber and brush quite well allowing you to see past close by illuminated twigs and brush. The Eastern coyote seems to react better to the red under 100 yards then the green most of the time but not always.

Blue Beam:

ADVANTAGES- The blue is another good option for using when moisture in the air is present. The blue is also a great choice when you have pressured predators that are catching on to the red & green lights and becoming light shy. The blue works well for tracking blood for some, but it doesn't seem to work for everyone. The blue has been known to work very well on hogs.

DISADVANTAGES- The blue is another mellow color and will not give you the distance that you get from the green or white. Most critters of the night are red & green color blind but can pick up the blue color so technique of using the blue light is critical on some predators.

WHEN TO USE- The blue works best on bright nights preferably with a snow covered ground and ambient moon light for predators. The blue is known to do very well with hogs and will help you see through a foggy, misty, snowy & rainy night.

White Beam:

ADVANTAGES- The white is the brightest out of all the colors and will allow for you to get maximum target identification yardage. The human eye can identify targets the easiest with the white. The white will work in some areas of the country quite well on predators. These areas are generally in areas where there is not a lot of traffic and a critter may go months without seeing the headlights from a vehicle. The white is also great for trailing blood, tactical purposes and every day use.

DISADVANTAGES- The white is too bright for most predators and hogs and will more times then not send them fleeing in the other direction very quickly. It is not recommended for use on eastern coyotes. Light discipline and technique must be practiced in full when using a white light.

WHEN TO USE- The white is best used in western states and in the southwest parts of the country on predators. It is also best used as a stationary light with little to no scanning and if scanning is needed then using the outer halo of the light to scan the horizon is best.

Color Change Switch w/ Built in Memory Function

The Color Change Switch is located on the shaft of the patent pending Nightmare™ and is equipped with a built in memory function. By pressing the Color Change Switch the lights beam will change to the next color. You are able to filter through the 4 colors in under 3 seconds. The Built In Memory function will ensure that the color chosen on the patent pending Nightmare™ will remain to stay on the color that was last used when turned off until you decide to change the color by clicking through the color change switch. This eliminates the need to click through the color modes each time you turn on the patent pending Nightmare™ to get to your desired color of choice.

100% Silent Intensity Control Remote Switch w/ Built In Memory

The patent pending Nightmare™ features a 100% Silent Intensity Control Remote Switch that is easily plugged into the tail cap. The Intensity switch allows you to operate the on/off function of the light as well as control the lights intensity from 0% to 100% brightness. The intensity switch has a built in memory feature that will keep the lights intensity at the same level when turned off and back on when using the switch, until you decide to change the intensity by pressing the (+) or (-) on the switch pad.

Splash Killer Halo Shield Extension

The patent pending Nightmare™ comes equipped with the Splash Killer Halo Shield Extension. The Splash Killer Halo Shield Extension is easily threaded onto the built in halo shield for the added protection against any unwanted light splash. This helps you maintain complete control of where your lights beam is projected. With this added benefit the patent pending Nightmare™ only illuminates the objects you want it to. This is a solution to helping keep yourself as concealed as possible and not alerting the critters that you are after.
